Preemie Quilt | Hugs and Kisses

Der zweite Frühchen Quilt ist fertig und es wurde auch Zeit. Ich habe jede Menge Projekte in der Pipeline mit denen ich endlich anfangen muss. Aber erst mal zum Hugs and Kisses Frühchen Quilt.

The second preemie quilt is finished and it’s a good thing I have lots of projects in the pipeline with which I seriously have to start. But first things first here is the Hugs and Kisses preemie quilt.

Und nun zurück zum Quilten der letzten beiden Frühchen Quilts, obwohl ich mir noch nicht sicher bin, wie ich sie quilten werde.

Now back to quilting the other two though I’m not sure about the pattern yet.

Yeah, hab endlich den ersten Frühchenquilt fertig. Obwohl es nicht ganz so einfach war. Versucht mal das Binding mit der Hand anzunähen während auf Eurer Schulter eine Katze sitzt. Natürlich saß er ausgerechnet auf der Schulter, mit der Hand ich die Nadel gehalten habe. Das schreit ja fömlich Crazy Cat Lady!

Yeah, I finished the first preemie quilt. Though I can tell you it was not easy. Try try hand sewing the binding while one of you cats is sitting on your shoulder and of course he picked the one in which hand I was holding the needle with. Very comfy. It just screams crazy cat lady!

Pink Love

Ich war mal wieder fleißig letztes Wochenende und habe zwei weitere Frühchen Quilt Tops fertig gestellt. Wie ich ja schon erwähnt hatte ist der Zweite ein weitere pinker XOXO Quilt geworden.

I’ve been busy over the weekend with two more preemie quilt tops. As I had already mentioned in my last post the second one turned out to be another pink XOXO quilt.

Beim dritten Quilt habe ich die Farben ein wenig umgestellt und fast nur von den pinken Stoffe verwendet, die wenigstens ein wenig rot enthielten. Ich glaube das ist mein Favorit bis jetzt.

For the third one I changed the color scheme a bit and mostly picked the pink fabrics that had at least a bit of red in them. So far I think this is my favorite.

Jetzt muss ich erst mal wieder los Vlies und Binding Stoff kaufen und dann geht es mit dem vierten weiter.

Next is a bit of shopping for batting and binding and then on to the forth one.
